If your monthly/annual plan has expired and you are unable to use the app

May 31, 2023

To improve payment security, we have migrated our payment system. Users who subscribed to a monthly or annual subscription plan on our website (ec.clip-studio.com) have been asked to re-register their credit card by today, May 31, 2023, 12:00 a.m. UTC to ensure their plan renews smoothly. In the event that we could not confirm payment details for renewal by this date, existing plans will expire without renewing. If you wish to continue using Clip Studio Paint after your current plan ends, please sign up again.

Until June 30, new sign-ups to monthly or annual plans will receive 1,500 Clippy tokens to their Clip Studio account. The Clippy will be credited within six business days of signing up.

If your credit card payment does not work or you would like to use a different payment method, you can sign up for the Windows and macOS versions from your smartphone or tablet through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. For details on how to sign up, see here.

To edit your previous files or materials created in the past, we recommend signing up for the same plan grade as before to pick up where you left off.

After signing up, if you get the message "Your usage period has expired" when launching Clip Studio Paint, please tap "I already have a license" and choose your new plan to launch the app.
